Warwick Arts Centre has a turnover approaching £6m and employs 60 FTEs. It welcomes over 235,000 visitors to its artistic programme and hosts major national conferences during University vacations at Easter and over summer annually. In Spring 2021 we will realise the biggest physical transformation of the Arts Centre opening three new cinemas along with a new gallery on the ground floor, modern all-day dining areas and a larger, more welcoming foyer experience designed for relaxing before or after an event, for meeting friends and family and enjoying our foyer events.
The Artistic programme at Warwick Arts Centre is diverse and eclectic. It presents the best UK theatre and dance, prestigious orchestras and big-name comedians, as well as music gigs, circus, experimental studio work and accessible work for children and families.
Warwick Arts Centre is currently undergoing a major project to build 3 new cinemas, a ground floor contemporary art gallery and a new restaurant. Warwick Arts Centre’s programme continues throughout the work, which is due for completion in 2021, in time for Coventry’s year as UK City of Culture 2021.
