Wigmore Hall, one of the world’s leading recital halls, specialises in chamber and instrumental music, early music and song. As it approaches its 120th birthday, Wigmore Hall is livelier than ever, offering music-making of outstanding quality and an array of activities in the broader community through its Wigmore Hall Learning programme.
Wigmore Hall’s mission is to bring great musical works to life through exceptional performances, sharing them as widely as possible with audiences in the Hall and online, to capture the public’s imagination and broadens its audiences’ horizons. The artistic team continues to invest in projects which are unique to the cultural life of this country, bringing back the best known international artists as well as nurturing the most promising young artists and championing their fresh perspectives. The repertoire extends 500 years from the Renaissance to contemporary jazz and new commissions from today’s most exciting composers.
